Thoughts from the abyss

Yeah, so I’ve been away for awhile, sorry about that. I was in Rochester this past weekend, for the Rochester Hamvention…which was a real  bummer. It got rained out. Always a sad time when a hamfest gets rained on. I got to do some fun things with a friend that lives up there, though, so it wasn’t a complete loss. And we can’t forget Dinosaur BBQ…damn good stuff!

Until tonight, I haven’t had much time to do anything on here. I’ve added another small how-to called NRPE. It’s a quick guide to setting up NRPE for Nagios under CentOS 4.3 using Dag’s RPM’s. The reason for it is because I needed to get NRPE working the other day, so I figured I’d jot down how it actually works as I was installing it. That way I can remember myself. Well, that’s about it for now.
