Added RHEL diskless client guide
May 25th, 2007 — maxwellMy boss gave me a neat project to work on this week, diskless clients. We had a hard drive fail in a machine, and instead of replacing, it was decided that we wanted to do a few diskless clients. As always, when I do something new I usually write it up so I can remember how to do it later. So, there’s a new guide for RHEL/CentOS servers.
The next step in the project is going to be getting a Linux terminal server going using the Linux Terminal Server Project. I have it running already, but I need to check it out more to understand how everything works, then I might type up a guide for it as well. It’s not that difficult to get going really, but a guide would be nice. At any rate, new docs, that’s my excitement for the week.
