AT&T/NSA lawsuit, yet another update

The Bush Administration is now trying to get the lawsuit thrown out of court due to the “states secret” reason. In case you don’t know what the state secret priviledge is, it was a Supreme Court case that was won a long time ago allowing the government to intervene a case if military secrets are or were involved, and then have the case simply dimissed. Insane, I just have to shake my head. On a positive note though, Senator Arlen Specter is threatening to start holding funding on the NSA’s spying program unless Bush starts being truthful about his questionable tactics of spying. Not that it’s going to really matter to the presidency, but still it’s out in the press now at least.
