Thoughts from the abyss

This is pretty cool, a web page analyzer. It checks to see how fast your pages load, and all the things that are on them, like images and what not. This site’s front page loads in 4.50 seconds on 56k and 0.31 seconds on a T1. If you still have dial-up, I feel bad for you. I was surprised at how fast this site actually is, of course a lot of it has to do with the server being tuned to which I can attest. Check the link out, it’s neat for reporting dumb stuff like total objects, HTML and CSS size, and that kind of stuff.
