Thoughts from the abyss

Well, in case anyone ever reads this, I’m in the middle of moving as I type. Of course, Murphy’s Law had to kick into effect this week while in the middle of all the stress. My laptop died yesterday! So, my new laptop will be this one:

ThinkPad R61i

I added an extra 1GB stick of memory to it for now, so it’ll have a total of 2GB. Considering my now dead laptop was an older ThinkPad R40 1.8 celeron, this new one should sing compared to it. Of course the Windows XP Professional will be immediately replaced with either CentOS 5.1 or Fedora 8.
