Thoughts from the abyss

Open-source is sweet! I spent the evening moving all my old blog software over to this new one. Since I didn’t really have that many posts on the old one, it really didn’t take too long. I think I like this new one better than the old one, plus it stores all of it’s data in a more sensible way. I looked all afternoon on freshmeat.net for blogging software that didn’t require a database, and came up with this one. PHP is sweet! So anyways, here’s the new stuff. I can do a lot more with this than I could with the old one, so hopefully I’ll make it more “pretty” and functionable. The dates are all messed up, but I don’t feel like manually editing the date format on all the posts; it’s not really a huge deal anyways. Also, this new one has a built in photo album, so I might check it out and move my old album over if I like it. I don’t know though, I’ve been a fan of the Gallery software for awhile now.
