Apparently the Linus (KDE) versus GNOME debate started again:

Frankly, I’m sick of hearing about it. If you’re already a Linux user, choose the one that best suits your needs. If you’re introducing it to new users, show them both and let them decide which one they would like to use best.

After that, shut up. Everyone arguing over KDE and GNOME are just making the open-source software community look like idiots. The entire point of “open-source” is choice, leave it at that people. There, I said my peace.
