Thoughts from the abyss

Here’s an interesting article on Popular Science about wired/un-wired technology that our troops have to deal with. It’s rather lengthy, but it’s a good read dealing with the challenges faced on the battlefields in the first real computer networked war. They go into some details about how the enemy has their own networking capabilities and how that can be a problem to US troops. Also, they explain some of the history leading up to “networked” technology and the military.
