New type of spam with images

For the past few weeks I keep getting some weird spam. They are actually images containing anything from pictures, to text but in picture form. I didn’t really pay much attention to it, because my stuff gets filtered, until I ran across this today from USA Today. Apparently this new breed of spam has been going on since Spring, but I guess I just haven’t gotten any until the past few weeks. The spammers are using this new form to try to bypass spam filtering software, because there is no text contained within the actual e-mail message to scan. They need to make it legal to track these shitheads down and hang them, in my humble opinion. Especially when you stop and think about the amount of internet traffic generated on the web today is roughly 80% spam…amazing. Such a waste of perfectly good bandwith. Anyways, here’s what the new “image spam” looks like. It’s cut off, I don’t know why, but it’s the way it was presented in my e-mail.
