Why is the US drinking age 21
August 26th, 2008 — maxwellThis is an interesting story about the US drinking age of 21. I agree with the one commenter about age. In this country, at age 18, you’re old enough to choose leaders of our local and federal government, and more importantly, you’re old enough to be enlisted and be drafted to serve in the military. Serving in the military means the possibility of dying for our country, yet you’re not old enough to legally have a beer because you’re not considered responsible enough. Ridiculous.
