Thoughts from the abyss

My trip to Slashdot tonight landed me with this story. It’s a good read, in short, about the history of news, newspaper, radio, and the media since the creation of the Internet. A lot of it is exactly the truth though, I very rarely ever pick up a printed newspaper or magazine. If I want to read about something, short of buying books, it’s faster and easier to do it online. You have paper laying all over the place to clean up later, plus you can streamline exactly the type of news you want to read about. Will newspaper die eventually? Hard to tell I guess.
